As part of Medical Education Week, students, faculty and residents were recognized Thursday with awards from the Society of Teaching Scholars during the annual Celebration of Excellence in Medical Education reception.
Among those recognized were UF College of Medicine graduates and faculty members Ryan Nall, M.D. ’09, and Kimberly Merkel, M.D. ’08, who received the 2018 UF College of Medicine Teachers of the Year award; and Kyle Rarey, Ph.D., who received the 2018 Society of Teaching Scholars Lifetime Achievement Award.
