Congrats to both our first year ASE PhD students, Nancy Adams and Ashley Walker, for having their abstracts accepted to the annual American Association for Anatomy conference in March! Ashley’s abstract is titled “Low-Stakes Quizzing (LSQ) in gross anatomy: Exploring student perceptions of student created lab quizzes in first-year medical student gross anatomy course” and Nancy’s abstract is titled “Journal Club with a Twist: A novel approach to journal club in the Anatomical Sciences“. They will be traveling to Washington DC in March to present their posters and represent the University of Florida and the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology. What a great achievement!
