The Florida Translational Cell Biology Symposium has received $1200 plus marketing/administrative support from American Society for Cell Biology for the 3rd year in a row. Graduate Students Kristen Skruber and John Calise submitted an Early Career Meeting Grant application in January and recently received news that they were awarded the grant. The 3rd Florida Translational Cell Biology Symposium will be held on September 13, 2019 at the Health Professions/Nursing/Pharmacy Complex (HPNP Building) on the campus of the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and will feature keynote speaker Dr. Samara Reck-Peterson, HHMI Investigator and Professor at UC San Diego.
